Fire and Ice Pickles

Drain well in a colander for several hours
2 jars of 32 oz. sliced dill pickles
Discard the pickle juice (unless you're like my hubby and likes to drink it then bottoms up!)
>>hold onto those jars - you'll be using them at the end of this recipe!
In a large mixing bowl combine:
4 Cups of sugar
2 T. of Tabasco
1/2 tsp. dried red pepper flakes
Several garlic cloves to put back in the jars.
Mix ingredients well. Add pickles. Stir well.
Cover. Let stand 2 hours, stirring occasionly.
Spoon back into jars and add garlic.
Re-lid and refrigerate. The longer they cure the better they are.
