Looks like I got ninja'd on the attachment suggestion :D but I keep it here anyways
oooh one thing I forgot to mention is that attachments are enabled. Under the "Post a Reply" box is a tab titled "Upload attachment". You can add whatever image you want, file comment not required. You, as well as all the other users, will see a preview of the image, as well, in the post! Here's an example: http://ffrcnation.com/ffrc-nation-forum/18/21.html#p67. This is a good option if you don't have the image uploaded anywhere else. The img tag is good for images that have already been uploaded.
Just in case there's trouble with using the img tag, I'll go over that, too :D.
Some websites will spit out a direct link to an image you've uploaded. If you aren't given such a link, you can usually do the following:
Firefox or Chrome: right-click on an image and click "Copy Image Location/URL"
Internet Explorer: right-click on an image and click "Copy"
This will give you the direct link to an image :D
Some websites like Flickr, however, override the right-click behavior.

If you go there and right click on Snappy's cute face (or anywhere on the image :>), a different menu may pop up.
The steps to take to solve this vary wildly by website and is probably too complicated to cover here D:. For Flickr, though, just select one of the sizes, preferably one that fits on a forum. You can then do the above method to get the direct link.

Re: How do I insert a picture
in flickr - once you chosen the pic and it is alone on the screen - you can also copy the url from your address bar - and use that in the IMG code - but really attaching is the easiest - if you know where it is on your system - LOL
