I read the blog today about Thomas.

Perhaps his seizures and/or disorientation, are caused by food allergies to: products containing milk, grain (wheat gluten, rice, etc.), and soy. It may help to remove them from his diet (I would include any treats with this--not just dry and wet food).

I read online some people's cats had seizures with disorientation for days afterwards, due to the above allergies. One person stated her cat didn't have a seizure for two months, then went into several days of disorientation (just like Thomas).

When they discontinued feeding the cats any food item with milk, grain, or soy, the seizures and/or disorientation disappeared.

Food allergies can be brutal in humans and animals, yet so subtle, they wouldn't be detected.

UPDATE: Thomas has died. Jacci had to make a very difficult decision. He was stuck in his mode, and she tried everything, to no avail. Jacci and everyone at FFRC gave our sweet boy a great life. Well done, and thank you for letting us know him.
