Fifty years ago in a farm in Bethel, New York, a half a million people from different parts of the world got together to celebrate peace, music and love. Praying for peace in a time of war, hoping for love when hate seemed to be everywhere and letting music unite and remind us all that we are one world with many hearts beating together.
Fifty years later we still pray for peace, hope for love and continue to let music unite us.
On that day, so many years ago the music could have been sung for what brings us together today.
The music of Woodstock has been remembered through the years for it speaks to us all. And one song stands out: With a Little Help from my Friends, reminds us that no matter the challenge, we’ll be alright, with a little help from our friends.
So today we celebrate our friendship with each other and with FFRC. We celebrate our FFRC family; a group of people from around the world coming together to promote love, compassion, respect and peace for all.
Welcome to Catstock 2019, a day to celebrate what unites us; our love for cats and our belief that we all can make a difference in the world, with a little help from our friends.
So turn up your volume and enjoy the day.
